Polygamy 2008

Polygamy 2008

We have make and are making major issues over abortion and gay rights, no offense but aren’t we all entitled to certain rights under the constitution.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think abortion is the right choice for me and in an ideal world it wouldn’t be necessary. However, I am Pro-Choice and believe that any girl, young miss, lady, woman or gender inclined person has the right to make that decision for themselves. I’ve also heard Pro-Lifers refer to being anti-abortion as saving a life, but are you really. Too often you hear stories or severely neglected and abused children who no-ones stepping forward to help. Granted we commended those who do but there are only so many willing people out there and caretakers are far too few and far between. Yes, we have foster care, family and adoption. So let’s chat a little about that, far too many of the people who take on foster children do it for the money and are far too often abused at the hands of their caretakers and surroundings. That’s not to say that all foster parents are money grubbing, abusive sadistic bastards; there are many “good people” who take on this overwhelming responsibility. Another problem we face is the lack of manpower when monitoring foster children in which case gets blamed for rampant abuse that’s never “caught.” At lease we have foster care at all even if our funding has been and continues to be cut. People often associate abortion with poor minority people, but don’t forget married couples, not just cheating wives do it as well. Married couples do for reasons of their own whether they are valid or purely shelf indulgent. It’s all about choices and our freedom to make the best choices for us. Only JFK ever asked us to think about the best thing for our entire country, not just ourselves. If we’re to think of the entire country then we need to do a serious rewrite to the constitution, don’t you think?

Then there is adoption, yet another option. Call me shelve fish, but I’d not willingly give my child up after going through the emotional turmoil of carrying my child and then giving birth to them. That’s just not an option for me, granted I’m old enough and I’d like to think some days I’m responsible enough to take care of my child should I find myself in that position. On another note, may people don’t even like their step-children, so how do you think they feel about adopting a child when they likely don’t know either parent. Another thing that’s not considered is the fact that children end up in foster care for what ever reason when they have know family members out there, but go figure are unwilling to take them for a multitude of reasons. Everybody wants babies; it’s easier to convince everyone that that’s your child when you adopt a baby including yourself. Then people also say well if you get a baby you’re not as likely to get all the emotional baggage as you would with an older child. SHELFFISH! But who am I to judge anyway, I haven’t adoption any children; quite a few gay people/couples have thought. We’re talking sick kids, minorities and a whole sloe of others I don’t even now about. But let’s not go on a complete tangent. Personally I feel you’re more likely saving a life when you adopt than when you stop an abortion. More and more the children abused by our childcare office are not getting over it. These kids are turning around and doing the same things that were done to them, to other people and in turn then disregard the protectors/authorities who didn’t protect them. Can you really blame them? I guess we’ll start recognizing the problem when we’re in dated with a generation of completely shelf governing citizens.

Then there is the biggest wrong doing of all, being gay, shit we ran an election on it; being gay must be the equivalent to cold blooded murder or the devil. Now, murderers, pedophiles, racist, polygamist, you get my point; we can live with. But to be gay and have rights, that’s just blasphemy (I’m going to hear about that aren’t I). Apparently making sure no gay couple and if some of the anti gay protestors had their way, gay person have the same rights as the heterosexual couples trump everything. We are so worried about this that no one cares that there aren’t enough jobs, the rich are getting richer while the poor get poorer, jobs are being moved overseas and you almost have to be rich in order afford health insurance if you have a family. But as long as a gay couple can’t get married, not being able to afford to eat doesn’t matter. America’s overweight anyway, an economically induced starvation diet might just do the over all population good. (Don’t have me get started on poverty and diet). That is until you’re the one going hungry, but what’s ah couple million hungry people. After all it’s your fault if you’re going hungry, they’re jobs out there. So what if those jobs barely pay minimum wage and can’t feed you much less your wife and three kids. Guess maybe you shouldn’t have had them in the first place, but then again you didn't murder your baby and you’re straight. Grumbling in your stomach is nothing compared to the peace of knowing you’re a better person in the eyes of; dare I say God.

Meat & Potato

So what do my ramblings abortion and gay rights have in common? SIN! According to the morally uptight, oops upright red state religious majority having an abortion is a sin and being gay is against nature and God obviously a sin! So, what do you call someone who has more than one wife, and that wife is living on welfare. If a guy gets a girl pregnant and doesn’t want to support that child he goes to jail. If it’s the same situation and the woman goes on welfare, the government goes after him to pay them back for supporting his child. Jail is ready and waiting for him if doesn’t do what he needs to. Now you ask why does the government lock'em up, because they consider it a CRIME. Go figure, growing up I was taught that if you broke a law like the Ten Commandments or the laws governing a land, you had to be punished. Seeing as how lynching, drawing & quarter, guillotine and firing squad are pretty much outlawed we’re required to work within the law. As far as I know there are no exceptions, no I take that back there’s diplomatic immunity. Aside from that everyone is suppose to obey the law. Like, only one wife for one man and vice versa. Utah had to denounce polygamy in order to become a state or else they couldn’t be a part of the United States, but maybe the history books got it WRONG. It wouldn’t be the first time!

Now apart from being disgusting and degrading, their lifestyle does affect me unlike abortion and being gay. It’s my tax dollars that end up supporting them. When the hus-band can’t afford to financially maintain all the wives and children they have they go on welfare. WHAT! Sounds like an abuse of the system to me. Why isn’t the government going after these men? This is when I have to pull the race card and go on a whole nother tangent. If these were black men doing this there is no way in hell, yes H E double hockey sticks the federal government would allow them to get away with this. On a different note, I’m sure you’ve heard about black men, he he the other men would be pissed. All their women would be jumping ship, if you know what I mean. The message I seem to be getting on this lack of law enforcement in regards to polygamy, is that it’s okay as long as dirty old white men doing. Personally I think sleeping with more than person within a certain time period is plain old nasty. Apparently I’m wrong though if it’s being done in the name of religion, then you’re just doing God’s will. According to the Mormon Church however, they don’t condole polygamy. That being said, why is it that approximately five percent of Utah said to practice polygamy and I don’t see where other than lip service the church does anything about it. So that means I’m now feeding, educating about a religious doctrine I don’t believe and paying for doctor visits and anything else welfare provides to people whose lifestyle I don’t agree with. I don’t think that’s fair, but then again who ever said life was fair. Then there is the whole other side to this, child abuse. When people lived to forty and that was considered a long life, then yes you got married at fourteen and fifteen. However, when the average human life span is seventy-five plus years, that’s totally unnecessary. Then again the women who find themselves in this situation don’t know any better because they’re lucky to have gotten an elementary school education. For lack of a better term, these women or too dumb to get themselves out of this mess or low and behold they may actually enjoy that life. (I so don’t see willing sharing my husband with another woman in a sexual. I would have to be out of my mind). Being married off at fifteen, sounds like abuse and I thought there were God ordained people who were given the responsibility of protecting these children, parents. Then again the parents are the abusers, so what do you do? Here’s a grand idea, arrest them for child endangerment. If you fail to protect societies most vulnerable then what good are you? These and I use the term loosely parents enter their daughters into abusive marriages, meaning another term I’m using loosely husband can beat her like a child (don’t get on me, spare the rod spoil the child) or dog. Then the other wives will take whether it’s literal or not, shots at her it still hurts; but maybe having grown up in that environment they just aren’t bothered by it. Then there’s the disgusting repulsive act of child molesting. What the FUCK is wrong with these people, aren’t there enough women, willing or other wise that they can force themselves on children? Leave the children alone! They’ll discover the never ending hell hole that is there life soon enough. I could be hearing wrong, but the men I’ve heard that are keep on about it’s hard work having multiple wives. My sister makes the valid point that it’s just possible they are a bunch of pedophiles and kids do it for them, Uh! (I feel like throwing up)! There is a lot more to be said but now I just feel sick.

Anti-Polygamy 2008 Presidential Platform

All that being said I think Anti-polygamy is a valid platform for the 2008 presidential election. I’m bloody sick of hearing how we don’t have the law enforcement man power to go after these people. That we need the space they take up for serious crimes rape, murder and so on. Stop with the Bullshit, we’re fighting a war on foreign soil to give others freedom. Well freedom needs to start at home. All Americans need to be free before we’re spreading propaganda that we’re freeing other people in other countries. If they can’t seem to find the means to go after these people who are being allowed to disregard the laws that govern the United States of America, then why should anyone else. If you’re going to say something is wrong, do something about it. Maybe the idea of a Polygamist United States is appealing however and by doing nothing some are hoping the county will find itself there.
